The Phillips University Legacy Scholarship and Leadership Development Program influences generations of talented young people by nurturing their dreams, cultivating their talent, and providing scholarship funds to ensure they can attend the colleges and universities currently or historically related to the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) as documented in the Yearbook and Directory of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Legacy Scholars, among the brightest, most promising young people attending these 17 fine institutions, are awarded tuition scholarships based on their academic achievements as well as present and potential leadership in their educational environment, faith community, the broader community, and the world.

A new scholarship applicant must be enrolled full-time (minimum of 12 hours per semester) as a first, second, or third-year student (first-year student, sophomore, or junior) pursuing a Baccalaureate Degree and attending one of these incredible institutions:
