The Undergraduate Legacy Scholars Program

SInce it's beginning in 2001, the Legacy Scholars program has provided scholarship support and leadership development to over 300 students.  Today, the Undergraduate Legacy Scholarship program provides merit-based renewable scholarships of up to $9000 annually as well as leadership development opportunities to full-time undergraduate students pursuing an education at colleges or universities affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). In addition to the scholarship, the program includes two key elements - the Annual Leadership Conference and the Volunteer Leadership Project. Scholarships are "merit-based." so while there is no GPA minimum, academics and course rigor are important.   Generally speaking, applicants should be well-rounded, with a proven track record of academic success, involvement, and leadership roles in their schools and the broader community.

Eligilbility:

  • College or University Choice - Applicants should be planning to attend or already be attending a college/university that is currently or historically related to the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) as listed in the Annual Yearbook.
